A little bit about me
Hi, my name is Jonathan Geisler, and I'm currently pursuing a Bachelor's in Computer Science with a focus on Cybersecurity at Liberty University. I specialize in network security, penetration testing, and system hardening using tools like Nmap, Metasploit, Wireshark, and Docker across both Linux and Windows environments.
Recently, I’ve been competing in the NSA-sponsored NCAE Cyber Games, where I’ve worked hands-on defending against Red Team attacks and managing critical services such as FTP and SSH. Beyond tech, I also serve in student government, where I advocate for students and collaborate on campus-wide policy initiatives.
I’m passionate about securing systems and solving complex problems, and I’m eager to bring that drive and experience to a forward-thinking cybersecurity team.
What I've Been Up To
A Matrix-themed CTF scoreboard built with TOML-based scoring logic for SSH, FTP, DNS, and Web services. Features glowing UI, animated canvas background, and real-time scoring via LXC containers and ZeroTier.
A local high-performance virtualization environment for cybersecurity and AI/ML workloads using Proxmox. Includes GPU passthrough, VLAN segmentation, pfSense firewalls, and real-world testing environments.
